Earlier officemates and I were lounging about at the office (bosses were away), and amid the YM'ing, the mousebreaker playing, the abuse of precious internet connectivity, a cellphone began to ring. The song was "People in your Neighborhood". Then it turns out one of us was downloading random TV themes.
Then one posed this highly intriguing question: how did the Nips Song begin? We all remembered the "choco rainbow" part, but not the start.
Then Auti (who for some demented reason is addicted to the chocolate candy) demonstrated her talent, and answered the question for us.
So here, for my personal enjoyment, the Nips jingle, from all those years back:
You want to know what happens in a bag of Nips
What goes on before they touch my lips
They make a rainbow (Chocolate Nips)
A choco rainbow (chocolate Nips)
And then they covered all the flowers and became the trees
they're sweet and delicious look at all the bees
when I want fun I open a bag of nips
Nips. Nips.
Wow. I never thought I'd say this, but I think I watch way too much TV.
