Two people I really adore right now: Joss Whedon, and Vic.
Last night, of course, was the free TV broadcast of the 5.14 episode of Angel, "Smile Time". In it Angel is turned into a puppet, and if you saw it, you would know why I think Joss is a mad genius. How else would a show about a vampire with a soul take a turn that gratifies the creator's passion for The Muppets?
By the way, I really agree that The Muppets' strength is their collective, as a group. When Kermit has his own talk show, it's cute, and everything, but it misses its... true meaning. If you know what I mean.
And Vic? Because she made that point about Stephen Colbert, porn, and pizza. I won't bother to elaborate, but, yes. I adore Stephen Colbert.
Ooh, look. Second straight post mentioning Stephen.
