Alright, i have to be serious for a second, because this is just a sign of the apocalypse now, or maybe just a road map to handing the Philippines over to hell in a wastebasket.
Really, Philippine Senate? You're going to use the World Bank report and use it to launch an investigation on the World Bank? Really? A report that pretty much accuses several top players in the local political scene, some of whom are pretty much linked to practically every single graft and corruption scandal that have come up in recent years, and you're putting the spotlight on the World Bank. Really? In a political climate that pretty much has numbed the people from the greed and politicizing of every single issue, and you're, what, proving to the World Bank that, hey, thanks for the memo, but we don't really care about the serious implications of the report. REALLY.
What the frakking frak, senate?
You're seriously going to put the World Bank on trial? The motherfrakking World Bank? You're a country on a billion dollar deficit, with outstanding loans to pretty much every country and institution that would still lend you money, and you're actually going after not just World Bank officials, but the institution itself?
This is not some fly by night company that just pulls things out of their ass, this is the frakking World Bank. I assure you that they have some foundation on what they're saying, and it's not just for kicks that the report came out. It's not just to play favorites, to settle some imagined slight, or whatever the frak else.
Sure, their are some criticisms on the report and how it came out, but isn't it a common belief that when there's smoke, there's fire? Surely there's got to be some ethics and morality left in the Senate and investigate this properly?
Because, really, to really borrow from Seth and Amy, Oh My God, Philippine government, are you serious?
Congratulations, Philippines, this just make me me lose all hope of ever earning a red passport.
