Nothing against Chips Ahoy!, but I have dedicated my midnight snack allowance to Keebler's Chips Deluxe, partnered with Maxwell House's Iced Coffee. Yummy.
As Bonnie points out, Tastes Like Somebody Loves You.
I keep spending the money I'm supposed to be saving for a laptop.
Because of Vic and A, compounded by a taped TechTV point/counterpoint regarding PCs and Macs, I now can't get over my need to explore the Mac world. Damn Apple. Damn Steve Jobs.
This hurts more when you realize I pass by Avant everyday on my way home.
Mmmm... apple...
Has anyone else heard those Bactidol and Biogesic ads?
The Biogesic one, of course, is the disgruntled DJ having to play that insipid "bagay ba sa kin ang kulot" annoyance as he explains that he takes Biogesic to get through the song.
But the Bactidol spots. Oh, those are good. If you haven't heard it, it starts with the voiceover relating to a friend or relative's sure-fire way to get over sore throat. It's funnier when you hear it, I promise.
Anyhoo.
I'm gonna kill whoever in Destiny is behind those ticker ads that run across my CNN. Do that somewhere else, you bastards.
And the Hala absence on ITME was sorely felt by this viewer.
I bought the Time magazine with the Influential 100 yesterday. I didn't mean to, except it's got Bono, Stephen and Arianna in it. And Meryl Streep. And Madeleine Albright.
Snow Patrol has a new album out, but I still love Run.
And speaking of Jason Lee (which I really wasn't), you know how much you (I) love him as Earl, and as Syndrome (The Incredibles)? We all know he will always be Brodie to me, and guess what. Kevin Smith, who had previously sworn to never use/resurrect Jay and Silent Bob ever again, is about to release Clerks 2. Dante and Randall!!!! Yes, it's not Brodie, and Jason Lee's probably gonna be a cameo for all he's worth, but Kevin Smith has returned to counter culture and gone back to his low-caliber actors. Sure, it's got Rosario Dawson, but no J.Lo, Shannon Elizabeth or Liv Tyler! *happy dance*
Geek Attack: for those who cannot install an IM on your pc, here's a portable app for you: GAIM. Unzip, configure, and run! It even supports Gmail, so...
I cannot find the guest Pixar character anywhere in The Incredibles. Pity.
Manhattan Murder Mystery is showing on HBO. I wish I a) will be awake for it; b) had a DVR.
Mal: You want to run this ship?
Jayne: Yes.
Mal: (thrown) Well... you can't.

I blame John Hodgman for making me want to part with at least $1200 to become among the 2.5%. Grrrh.
I already sent an e-mail to Destiny, threatening to have my subscription cancelled if they keep up with the ticker ads on CNN. You might want to try too. customercare@mydestiny.net I hope it still works, I've sent all my other complaints there, and they conceded. I even told them to only run the ads in intervals when they used to run them continuously. I'd like to think they listened to me.
And, hey, why not. DVRs should be cheap now. :^)
