I can't stand me

In psych, there's a defense mechanism called projection, wherein, basically, the traits that piss you off the most about other people is something you loathe within yourself.

With that in mind:

It annoys me when people talk endlessly about one topic. The first hundred times, fine, I will tolerate the gazillion ways we can discuss one topic. But after that?
It annoys me when people are so moody. Why a topic can take hours to be discussed and debated one day, and the next be completely off-limits.
It annoys me when people won't just say they're not in the mood to talk.
It annoys me when people, so recently burned by someone, will not talk about anything else but the burning, and not share the details. You're expected to sympathize blindly.
It annoys me when people sympathize blindly.
It annoys me when people don't sympathize blindly.


Other annoyances:
People who do not share your passion.
People who make fun of your taste in television.
People whom you know you should hate, but are unable to because of some sick, strange reason. Or you just really like them.
People whom you can't help but respect.
People who, even though you know can do better, just won't.
People who are so unreasonably ill-tempered.
People who can blow a fuse just because they want to.
People who set appointments then blow you off.
People who expect you to wait, but won't do it themselves.
People who are early.
People who believe themselves such experts even though you're just ignorant.
People who are ignorant.
People who are so complacent that they stop trying.
People who work so hard just so they can complain about it.
People who don't work hard then complain they're not challenged.
People who can't say outright that they rather like their jobs.
People who assume and make an ass out of u and me.
People with such high expectations that anything less is like a personal insult to them.
People who don't answer IM's for no real reason.
People who wax rhapsodic over something, without ever telling you what the thing is.
People who downplay everything you do.
People who tell you that there's an easier way to do things.
People who watch you triumph in Freecell then tell you that pressing CTRL+Shift+F10 will do in seconds what takes you minutes.
People who are overenthusiastic about everything you do.
People who lie to you.
People who will lie to you.
People who won't lie to you.
People who like really stupid movies that are beyond your rational reasoning.
People who like stupid movies.
People who hate movies you like and argue with you about it to convince you of their standpoint.
People who keep complaining about details (the fries are too salty, the soda tastes stale) but won't do a thing about it.
People who set plans and keep postponing, and hate you when you postpone.
People who will complain about other people endlessly until you realize they're complaining about you.
