back when it was still Tech TV, and not G4TechTV, and it was being shown locally, I was a big tech geek in the manner that I could watch the channel all the time. I was hooked. With shows like Spy School and Eye Drops, I spent endless hours tuning in. Yes, yes. I am a frustrated tech geek.
Anyway. Last year it was bought by G4, and has revamped the channel to cater to a more youthful (read: immature) audience of pimply-faced post-adolescents, probably the same crowd you see in Magic:The Gathering matches. Or Star Trek conventions. Yes, it still has Morgan Webb and Sarah Lane, two of the coolest women on the planet, but it no longer has Cat, or, my favorite Tech TV gal, Sumi Das (who has moved on from Fresh Gear onto -- get this -- doing freelance reporting for CNN).
And Kevin Rose and Brendan Moran are two of the better-looking computer nerds I've ever laid eyes on.
But the fun part is that since viewers of TechTV are tech geeks too, so they can come up with fun things tech-related. Here is a link to a cool comic strip. If you've been involved with a tech geek, you will relate to this. I know i did.

Brendan Moran is not a computer nerd. He's a TV producer. Someone put him on the air back at TTV. His boss actually. They had worked together in local news and came to TTV together. Kevin is an actual computer nerd. That is all.
