Uneducated Athletic Assaholics. Punk.
I remember a time in university when I had to endure a whole term of taking a pretty worthwhile subject with a pretty worthwhile teacher in the midst of pretty annoying athletes.
Shitfuckmotherfuckerfuckshit I was in an athletes' block. It was not a good time for all of us non-athletes. Not to mention, are they naturally annoying punks or is that a mutation caused by over-exertion?
I know the whole school's turning itself inside out because of some egotistical football player. And I've seen you insult or proposition just about everyone you come across. So my guess is that you're the football player guy. Congratulations you must have worked very hard to become a colossal jerk so quickly.

And I had to endure two or so other classes with some other -- grrr-- basketball guys.
Yes, I have a few athletic friends, at the time I had friends in the volleyball, swimming and even the softball team. But, I don't know. Basketball players really get to me. Could be a throwback to my times in high school, where the basketball players were given star treatment that, let's face it, they didn't really deserve.
My friends are the art freaks, but that's beside the point.
Well, Green defeated Blue in the opening matchup last Sunday. The funny thing about having graduated from school of choice (ho hum, no clue for you) is that when you graduate, it's like this annoying unspoken bond among all of you.
Even when you'd rather not have anything to do with said alumni.
It's just like having graduated from High School. You've all endured pretty much the same teachers, and it's... a strange connection you have.
Actually I started this entry as a "reflection" on Vic's Jim Team. Named after their tree of choice, I remembered the stone table incident (you know this, I'm sure). And why we couldn't understand why anyone would want to sit under that great big tree that guarantees natural additives to your meal (bird poo, leaves, creepy crawlies...).
We (Shamefest, Weirdos, etc.) sat at the trees along the field. Yup, near the restrooms. No, not the one right in front (thank God) but close.
The tree closest to the entryway, occupied by students from the honors class, had baptized it "U.P." Not lacking in ambition, those girls. They claimed it was for "Unang Puno" (insert eye rolling here).
As a smart-alecky answer to that baptism, some of my friends named our tree "PUP". Not that we wanted to go to Polytechnic, or anything, we just wanted to annoy them and call our tree "Pangalawang Unang Puno". And we had Romina, so there.
UP never really appreciated the joke, but we knew that anyway.
I keep receiving annoying alumni newsletters from college. I suspect it's because my parents have a friend who works tha alumni office, not to mention I "worked" for one of the many newsletters in school when I was a student. I don't have money, I can't afford to support alumni causes.
Take a hint.
