Nigella, do you need another child?

On Nigella Bites, Nigella Lawson demonstrates to us why thin people are the devil. When she cooks, you can't imagine what life would be like to have to be on a diet (again: the root word of "diet" is "die).
I was raised watching cooking shows. I still suck at it (cooking), but at least I know good cuisine when I see it. This year's flight of fancy is Nigella and Jamie Oliver (The Naked Chef), but there have been many before them.
And any mother who can convince her children to eat their greens must be a genius in the kitchen.
RORY: Nigella just made a raisin cake that looked so good, the fact that raisins make me gag became totally irrelevant.
LORELAI: Well, good, more ordering choices.
RORY: Oh, my God, she's about to deep-fry a Bounty Bar. I want to move in with her and call her Mommy. Do you mind?
(The Gilmore Girls, "The Reigning Lorelai")

Oh, right. That reminds me: long standing in my "Hate/Envy" list is that bitch who hosts Inntimate Escapes. I'm a rabid fan of travel shows, but unlike Lonely Planet/Globe Trekker or Travelers, this woman doesn't have to do anything. Go to the hotel/motel/bed and breakfast/whatever, go around town a bit, have a meal or two. Grrr.
