i have a group of friends, since high school, and one of the things that bind us together is the fact that we all accept each other for who we are. how we are. we have long, lengthy discussions because for the most part, we all have varying ideas and thoughts on different topics.
then the inevitable happens. the sex has become between us.
we come from an all-girls school, and we're not gay (i don't think), but it's happened anyway. some of us haven't, some of us have. and those who have can't seem to get enough of it.
and that's where the problem started. some of us are just plain insane, and the sad part is, now that we're approaching our mid-20's, some of the things we accepted as being part of our insane charm is just... well, one of us decided to start describing it as destructive behavior.
so what's changed? did she change? did those of us who were risqué just gone too far?
i don't know. and i can't begin to figure out how to change things. if i'm supposed to.
the thing is, the one who's overly concerned for our friends has reason, but now she won't even talk about it anymore. so the rest just have to fill in the blanks of her cold silence. the point is, when did tolerance and acceptance become such a taboo word? when did we in our circle stop being real, and start being polite?
with record-breaking speed i have recovered from the wreck but it's not over yet
