Much like 90210, Melrose Place has a very distinct early 90's feel to it. To reinvent it is a study in "ehh... no." Sure, idea-lacking Hollywood might have thought, "ooh, ratings gold!" but it's not. I haven't met anyone who's dared to watch the new 90210, and oh lord please just take away this show.
So the new Melrose Place will be on. It promises to suck, based on the teaser trailer alone. And it has Michael Mancini and Sydney Andrews, playing father and lover to the same male character; first, who's the mom of this boy, and second, didn't Sydney frakking die? Then again, in Melrose Place, nobody dies.
Oh, wait:
After the jump, part two.
