Look, I'll always be sad that Hillary Clinton isn't the United States' first female president (or its current president, in general), but I have to say this:
I wish any of the current female Democrat senators/representatives will become president so that this moment in American history will be remembered, and one day be studied exhaustively and maybe - hopefully - be a reminder of how even the greatest of nations can fall apart.
Hell, a part of me wishes Sen. Elizabeth Warren will one day become president just so future generations will know how truly terrible Mitch McConnell (and the rest of his ilk) is.
And how the two-party system, while ideal, encourages the
worst of partisanship: the Republicans defend passing that even-worse
version of their healthcare bill to repeal the ACA by saying "the president needed a win".
Think about that.
The guy who said the United States would be tired from so much winning "needed a win".
Dude.
What the actual fuck.
And now the FBI Director has been fired (I can't even make a joke about BAU Unit Chief Emily Prentiss, what the hell) and -- sigh -- "unpresidented", indeed.
Don't get me started on local news, that's such a clusterfuck I can't even begin to unpack it. But Quiapo's had two explosions in recent weeks, so be careful out there, friends.
