in retrospect

When I was in high school, I could afford to not pay attention in class, just copy down notes from the blackboard and copy off homework from my classmates for subjects or teachers I did not care for. For some subjects (like Math and Chem or Physics) I could even not pay attention for the whole quarter and yet when the exams came, the solutions and the theorems and the formulas would suddenly all make sense to me and I would get a score I probably didn't deserve.

Sometimes I wish I were still in school, so I could get luck even when I probably don't deserve it. And for the daily allowance in exchange for attending school.

Then I remember that if you get sick of it, there are no Sick Leaves and Vacation Leaves or resignation from school.
