Stumbled upon these videos today. Looks like Conan's a prophet.
In the last few minutes of his Emmy Awards monologue (skip to 6:00 to get right to the song and dance), Conan provides NBC execs the motive to hold a grudge and wait for the right opportunity to screw him.
Yes, he made fun of Fox, too.
But the 2006 opening is still one of the better clip compilations I've seen:
The jokes are dated, but they're still pretty funny.
Also, is it true that NBC has erased all Conan videos on the site? 'Cause that's just effed up.
And is it wrong to wish he'd go to Comedy Central instead of Fox? Because Fox has already cancelled Firefly and clearly will cancel anything.
