Madam Secretary

Alright: I envy Jessica Zafra for being the official blogger of Hillary's Philippines visit. Dammit. (You can follow Supreme Ruler's Live Blog of Madam Secretary's visit here.)

Although the bright side is, there won't be any international incidents, because there's no female with a pin and banner that says I ♥ Hillary. With sparkles, and all. Because it's bound to stand out amidst those rallyists also vying for her attention.

As I type, I still haven't figured out how to crash the Town Hall in UST (why UST, State Dept? But, good for you, UST!). Hmm. Ponder. Sigh.

Now, I don't always agree with her politics, and you have to admit the caricature that Ana Gasteyer/Amy Poehler painted on SNL usually rang true, but, still: It's Madam Secretary of State Clinton!

And Malacanang press corps: I admire that none of you burst into laughter when you were "requested" to answer in the affirmative if asked if the current administration has done wonders in curbing graft and corruption or has made headway in national development.

ARAH asked why the visit isn't getting coverage on international news media. Um, because they owe us nothing and we offer them nothing? Just a theory.
