the end is nigh already?

Oh, Galactica.

I admit that I didn't understand you at first, but then I watched from the beginning, and oh my. I do believe Ron D. Moore is brilliant.

I think it was the hotness of Lee Adama that started it all. And Gaius Baltar's accent.

Then the wicked crazy that is Kara Thrace, which is so straight from the Joss Whedon handbook on strong women characters.

And as the series went on, I think it was Helo Agathon that made me watch every week.

Sure, I questioned casting someone from One Tree Hill, but then again I wasn't impressed with the casting of someone from Edgemont, either. Good thing good roles can prove me wrong about the acting chops of some people.

And now you go and cast Eric Stoltz in the spinoff.

Alright, a big part of BSG for me is the Kara/Lee relationship. Even though I'm not sure where that's going from week to week. (That He That Believeth in Me hug is still the best hug ever. And Unfinished Business is awesome for what it means for that relationship.)

But. The Agathon family. From Helo, to Athena, and now the awesome adorableness of Hera.

Oh, Hera. I hate Boomer as much as Athena must by now, for hurting you and the kidnapping. It's one thing when they hid you away with a foster family, but to send you off to a farm or somewhere. With Crazy Cavil and Surgical Simon! It's just all kinds of wrong.

Never mind Olivia Wilde. You, adorable little Hera, are my Thirteen.
