suck and blow

How can it be time for season two of Project Runway Philippines already? Didn't we just recover from the first one?

Does anyone even care about the first one?

What can be said about Project Runway Philippines that hasn't been said already?

It blows. And it blows hard.

It also sucks vacuum cleaners.

I haven't met anyone who watched the first season and eagerly anticipated the next season, much less the next episode of the thing.

Perhaps the ads were just horrible. Or maybe the contestants weren't interesting enough for me to care.

Of course, it could be the simple matter that I loathe reality shows, especially of the reality-competition variation. (Tim Gunn, however, rules. Right alongside Nigel Barker of America's Next Top Model.)

Seriously, why is there a second season? Has the first one done anything that stands out, that makes me want to see more of the local fashion design pool?

And, to echo Jessica Zafra, the show just isn't gay enough. It takes itself way too seriously, when, for crying out loud, it's a fashion-oriented show! As Tyra once told an ANTM contestant, and I'm paraphrasing here, but the fashion industry is a lot of gay.

Besides, the original is all tied up in lawsuits and whatnot. If I can't have my dose of Tim Gunn, then I shouldn't have to deal with a second-rate, trying hard, copycat.

(PS: the catfights just weren't petty and catty enough. if the producers can guarantee a cattier, campier second season, maybe I can be coerced.)
