I'm not breaking up with Firefox yet, but there is someone waiting in the wings. At least, on my PC (because I am on a PPC, and not on Intel, regarding Vlad. Also, Safari is so quick and clever. It's like your best friend.).
I heart you, Opera. I don't know how some people can continue to stand their IE, but, Opera and Firefox, you have my heart. I stick to Firefox because of loyalty, and because it's just so clever.
But Opera? Whoo. In a way, I like to think of it as cheating on Firefox with Opera. Because Opera is damn pretty. Firefox is the cute, stable one, the one you can count on when you're pissed and just want one thing to work out.
Opera is the feisty, pretty I-don't-care one that makes you feel warm and tingly despite yourself.
Yes, I just made innuendo regarding web browsers. I need professional help.
In other news:
- Heath Ledger. It's like River Phoenix, redux. Because talented actors who are good-looking, brilliant, and "have (their) future ahead of (them)" is just too... It's just depressing. Because all the news reports just remind me of River, and when I take a moment to remember it's Heath, not River, I just feel so sad that Patrick Verona on 10 Things I Hate About You is dead.
Frak. How will I ever watch that movie without feeling pangs of sadness now?
- Hala and Richard in Davos. Whee.
- Scrabble for Cheaters. (where this entry's title is ripped off from)
Interviewer: Do you have a rider on your contract that you have to kick ass in your roles?
Katee Sackhoff: No, I have a rider where I have to redeem cheesy 70's TV shows.
(interview with Katee Sackhoff, who stars in Battlestar Galactica and Bionic Woman)
