Mary-Louise Parker beat the four Housewives for Best Actress in a TV Series, musical or comedy, at the Golden Globes.
I love Felicity Huffman and Marcia Cross (simply for not being Teri Hatcher or Eva Longoria, hee), but HA.
Eat shit, Billy Crudup.
Parker, you rule.
-- and I did not know that her speech some months ago on thanking her son for her new personal "golden globes" was a bet with Janel Moloney.
I've only seen the pilot of Weeds, but hell.
Elizabeth Perkins also got nominated. Yay.
I love that Geena Davis won for being the POTUS (an acronym I still love after all these years after Bill Clinton's last Correspondents' dinner and the first season of The West Wing).
-- hey, speaking of The West Wing, didn't Mary-Louise Parker get nominated for that, too? hee. --
And I hate that... oh, someone -- I forget who -- mucked up Laura Linney's name. Linney. God, I hope Laura wins a major award soon.
Oh! And, ohhhh... Jonathan Rhys-Meyers. Cleaned up, he looks kind of cute. But not enough. I'll still eagerly await Match Point, though.
Oh, and Dustin: thank you. I cannot express well enough how grateful I am for the video link.
Martina's in the second round. Hmmn.
Vylette's got a new car and is supposedly in love with someone who can't string together a decent English sentence. Slut-o-(d)rama, I blame you.
"We were all desperate housewives, mine was just a little more desperate than they were.''
- Mary-Louise Parker, on winning over the Desperate Housewives four.

ETA: the external link to the Will Arnett video's dead. I'm sure it's around Youtube, just search for it if you want.
